It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Silfee of Westminster, Maryland, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Whitfield and Wilma Whitfield (Nicholson). She is survived by: her husband Chester James Silfee, Jr.; her sons, Chester James Silfee (Jimmy), Allen Whitfield Silfee (Cathy Tello Silfee) and Christopher Stephen Silfee (Joyce Lau Silfee); her brother Stephen Charles Whitfield (Pamela); her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Silfee, Kaye Holtsmaster (Frank), Paula Marks (Fred), Karl Silfee (Trish), Leon Silfee, Mark Silfee (Jean) and Penny Strickland (Brad); and her grandchildren, Maddie, Hunter, Carter, MaeMae, Jordi, Elias and Henri Silfee. She is also survived by eight nieces; 12 nephews; 32 great nieces and nephews; and one loving grand-dog.
