He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Rhoades and Ethel Szymanski; his son Anthony D. "Tony" Smith; his daughter-in-law Pamela J. Rhoades; his brother Albert Clifton Rhoades (Cliff); and his stepsister Kathleen Hoke.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie A. Rhoades; his children, Christopher J. "C. J." and Stacey L. Kropp (Brian) of Westminster; his daughter-in-law Lisa Smith of Westminster; his sister Linda Schmidt; and his stepsister Jeannie Carter. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic services will be private.
