She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Leister, Jr and Jennie Rill Leister; her husband Milton C. Basler, Jr.; her sister Betty Peregoy Danner; her son-in-law Thomas Herbert; and her siblings-in-law, Thelma Basler Bragdon, Dr. Richard A. Bragdon, Harold J. Babcock and Harry E. Peregoy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Herbert (Jimmy Coles) of Westminster, Brenda Walker (Kevin) of Westminster and Teresa McCulloh (Joe) of Westminster; her brother Ronald L. Leister (Carolyn); her granddaughter Jessica Herbert Schindler (Dan) of Hampstead; her great grandchildren, Abigail Schindler and Caroline Schindler; and her sister-in-law Mabel Basler Babcock of Marriottsville. She is also survived by friends, family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
