She was predeceased by: her father Charles Young. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Young (Toms); her brother Kevin Young of Fredrick, MD; her close friend Kenny Mechalske of Westminster, MD; and her son Cody Bare (Ashley Bare) of Littlestown, PA.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (136 E Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD 21787). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's name to National Breast Cancer Foundation.
