He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sylvia Maffucci, Victor, Sr. and Dolores Shimkus; his uncle Victor Shimkus, Jr.; and his cousins, Joseph McMahon and Douglas Sweeney.
He is survived by: his mothers, Mary Sue Shimkus of Owings Mills and Lea Maffucci of Little Falls, NJ.; his sons, Nathaniel and Asher; his siblings, Cara Maffucci (Scott Varga) and Anthony Maffucci; his grandfather Emil Maffucci of Larchmont, NY; and his uncle John Shimkus.
