He is survived by: his wife Margaret Helen Boblitz; his sons, John Carl Boblitz, Jr. and Charles Frederick Boblitz; his stepson Daniel Zanti Strine; his grandchildren, Marleen Kohl, Lukas Boblitz, Joshua Boblitz, Zachary Boblitz, Reaghan Strine, Emerson Strine and Jackson Strine; his nephew Henry Appleton; and his niece Stephanie Boblitz Lotta.
