It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Anthony Coakley Sr. (Westminster, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Timothy and Ruth Margaret Coakley (Bensen); and his wife Mary Coakley (Reiter). He is survived by: his children, John A. Coakley, Jr (Stacy) of Westminster, Louise Coakley (Lisa Martin), Mary Clare Hoerl (Rick) of Finksburg and Sarah Kawa (Fred) of Towson; his grandchildren, Emily, Carly, Anna, Darius, Aurora, Ricky, Charlie, Sam, Dewey, Regan and Paige; and his siblings, Eleanor Simpson (Larry) of Tucson, AZ, Elaine Kielman (George) of Ellicott City, Donald Coakley (Sandy) of Xenia, OH and Marny Needle (Donald) of Pensacola, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
