It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Allgire Workmeister of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie C. Allgire and Agnes L. Bremner; and her husband Lynn H. Workmeister. She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn; her grandsons, Samuel and J. Lincoln Shearon of Pittsburgh, PA; her sister Claudia Zimmerman; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Zimmerman of Perry, GA, William E. Jackson of Macon, GA and Judy Workmeister of Cumberland, MD. She is also survived by her friends and family.

I was one of Jane's classmates during our 1960 senior year at Francis Scott Key H.S. Jane was our yearbook editor and I had the pleasure of being her Advertising Editor. I have very fond memories of our friendship and thought she was the prettiest girl in our class. She had a wonderful personality. Richard Dorsey”
