He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace V. Menchey (Koontz) and James L. Menchey, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lee Menchey; and his children, Ronald Menchey, Sr. (Denise) and Dawn Nauman (Steve) of Westminster. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
