We bid farewell to Gloria Alice Oxley (Westminster, Maryland), born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 95. Gloria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Clark Dorr and John Hartley Dorr; her spouse Dale Donald Oxley; her daughter Lisa Merle Oxley; and her siblings, Clifford Hartley Dorr and Florence Dorr Jacob.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Hardinger (George) of Silver Run and Dawn Musgrave of Catonsville; her grandchildren, Corey Wilt (Howard), Casey Hardinger Staubs, Thomas Musgrave (Ashlee) and Samantha Musgrave; her great grandchildren, Will Wilt, Simone Staubs, Emma Wilt, Michael Wilt, Alice Eccleston, Ivy Eccleston, Delilah Skrok, Cora Musgrave, Jamie Musgrave and Beau Musgrave; her sister-in-law Mary Jane Dorr; her nieces, Kathy Hofstetter and Kimberly Jacob; her nephew Lance Jacob; her great-nieces, Linda Stoll, Jane Meleady and Rebecca Stoll; her friends, Vera, Ray Reiner, Margaret and David Smith; and her caregiver Mary Zafares.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the United Church of Christ (2950 Old Taneytown Rd, Westminster, MD 21158).
