She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carroll and Elvie Maude Harry Hughes; her husband Lawrence Frederick Howard; her son Bruce Edward Harman; her siblings, Harry Adam Hughes, Howard Carroll Hughes, Henry Hughes, Clara Virginia Beamer, Hilda Mae Miller, Annie Berkley Hoff and Helen Owings; and her former spouse Carroll S. Harman.
She is survived by: her son Birnie Carroll Harman of Westminster, MD; her daughter-in-law Diane Harman; her stepdaughters, Joan Mason, Linda Boit and Elizabeth Kemp; her grandchildren, Amanda and Caitlyn; and her sisters, Mary Alice Rosenberger of Westminster, MD and Betty Young of Finksburg, MD.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn's name may be offered to the Black Rock Church of the Brethren, 3864 Glenville Rd, Glenville, PA 17329.
