He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Theodore Hill, Sr. and Helen Mary Hill (Carroll); his grandson Brian A. Blank, Jr.; his brother G. Carroll Hill; and his former wife Jeanette Hill Keeney.
He is survived by: his close friend Gail Martensen of Eldersburg; his children, Ernest "Ted" Theodore Hill, III (Chrissy) of Westminster, Bonnie B. Hill of Westminster and Heather J. Hill of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan Hill, Jade Hill, Caitlin, Molly Knouse (Craig), Luke, Andrew, Eric, Brad, Jill and Jessie; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Ashanti, Landon, Ella and Claire; his niece Holly Kravec; and his nephew Mike Hill.
Due to Covid pandemic masks and social distancing must be practiced while in funeral home.
