He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Hugh, Sr. and Velma Lawson (Shifflett); and his half-brother Mike Lawson of Harriston. He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Lawson; his children, Brian E. Lawson (Heather) of Westminster and Kathryn L. Lawson of Westminster; his sisters, Glenda L. Morris of Waynesboro, VA and Patricia L. Morris of Crozet, VA; his half-brother Steve Lawson (Virginia) of Harriston; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Lawson. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
