It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris C. Bortner of Westminster, Maryland, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shellman Hughes and Margaret Brightwell Hughes; her husband Austin S. Bortner, Jr.; her son Stephan A. Bortner; and her siblings, Bob Hughes, Mary Reese, Peggy Lee and Charles Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret "Michele" Forry of Westminster; her daughter-in-law Joyce A. Spangler of Westminster; her brother James W. "Bill" Hughes of Baker, WV; and her grandson Wade Stephan Bortner.
