Dominic Joseph DiMartino Jr. Obituary

Dominic Joseph DiMartino, Jr., 74, of Westminster, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born Jan. 29, 1949, he was the beloved husband of Robin DiMartino, his wife of 37 years, and son of the late Dominic DiMartino, Sr. and Polly (Wine) Martak.

He was a proud Baltimore City Firefighter and EMT before retiring, then worked at Mc Daniel College as a Campus Safety Officer.

Known in part for his sense of humor, generosity and kindness, he made close friends early in life that remained so until the end. He loved reading about history for as long as he could stay awake. Above all, Dominic loved Robin and the rest of their family first and gave everything he had to them for his whole life.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister Lana DiMartino and predeceased by his brothers, John and Nicholas. He is also survived by his "favorite daughter" Lauren Bush and her husband, David, and their children - Kieran, Joseph, Sonora and Lochlan Soliday, and Joshua and Jacob Bush – all of whom were the light of his life. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Marc Soliday, and his son, Patrick.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M., and a Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 P.M. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
