He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis J. Smith and Lena E. Smith; and his wife Carolyn L. Smith. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Michelle Myers Parrish (David) of Westminster and Tracie Myers Blacksten (Mark) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Nicholas Parrish (Karley) of New Market, Jared Parrish, Sean Blacksten and Sydney Blacksten of Westminster; his brothers, Albert Smith and Charles Smith (Kathleen); and his nieces, Christine Kratz and Tiffaney Large.
