He was predeceased by: his parents, George Inouye and Reiko Inouye (Kobayashi); and his sister Carol Ward (Darryl). He is survived by: his wife Mary Inouye; his sons, Christopher Inouye and Jeffrey Inouye (Hannah Mumbert); his uncle George Kobayashi; and his aunt Hester Kobayashi.
