He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dyson (Bandorick); his son David Roland Dyson II (Karen); his granddaughters, Jennifer Barlow (Bill), Amy Johnson (Neal) and Amanda Dyson; his siblings, Mildred Sweitzer, Mary Redmond, William, Mark and Charles Dyson; his nieces, Katie Kataros and Joan Sears; and his cousin Wayne Smith.
