He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Simms, Sr. and Mary Alberta Simms; and his brother Leroy Simms. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Murray Simms; his sisters, Mary Anna Wilhelm (Raymond), Doris Schaule (Brian), Anna Langrehr (Robert), Joyce Fairfield (Kirk) and Janet Caughlin (Michael); and his sister-in-law Sharon Simms. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (91 Willis St, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church (208 Kriders Church Rd, Westminster, MD 21158).
