He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Susan Mathis; his parents, Dexter Mathis and Shirley Ann Mathis; his children, Charles Lee Mathis, Jr, Nicklous Mathis and Samantha Mathis; his stepson Tyler Foley; his brothers, Pete (Patsy Nickolson), Gordon (Laura Mathis), Robert (Karen Mathis) and Jeff (Valerie Mathis); and his cousin Glen "Goober" Parham. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & Friends.
