It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Powell of Westminster, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delores M. Hale (Robert) and William F. Cook; her daughter Kimberly L. Powell; and her brother William G. Cook. She is survived by: her husband Edward Eugene Powell, Jr.; her sons, Michael W. Powell (Sunshine), David E. Powell and Adam C. Powell (Emileigh); her sisters, Joyce M. Dantoni (Fred) and Gloria J. Downey (Richard); her siblings-in-law, Holly Cook, Catherine Tripp (Michael Hall), Diane Singletary (William), Christine Kelly (Terry), Joseph W. Powell (Cindy) and Edward E. Powell; her grandchildren, Steven Powell (Lisa), Christian Powell (Katlyn), Kaitlyn Roth (John Sr.), Derrick Powell (Ashley), Kelsey Powell, Sadie Roth (Bobby), Kourtney Wilson (Damian), Emily Powell, Ethan Chamberlin (Hanna) and Kimberly Powell; and her great grandchildren, Sean Kassakatis, Sophia Roth, John Roth, Jr., Brantley Ford, Z'cariah Sterling, Bentley Roth, Carsyn Roth and Jeremiah Powell. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
