She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Calver and Reba A. Yandeau Calver. She is survived by: her husband John M. Hoffman III; her daughters, Gretchen L. Banks (Corey), Jenny M. Hoffman and Molly A. Hoffman; and her siblings, William H. Calver, Andrew A. Calver and Patricia K. Harner. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
As she was an advocate for women's issues, donations can be made to the House of Ruth in memory of Carol.
