He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Fay; and his brother Michael Preston. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol McDonaldson Preston; his children, Barry Joe Preston, Jr. of Westminster and Cindy Michelle Blizzard (Dennis) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Stathers (Walter) and Shawn Gregory Preston; his great grandchildren, Cayden and Lilith Stathers; his siblings, Reesa Szczepanik and Ricky Gwaltney; his sister-in-law Constance Preston; and his nieces, Jodi Thompson and Andrea Murphy.
