He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Punk" and Grace Viola Martin (Ahern); his grandson Patrick Russell Lewis; his son-in-law Kirk Davis, Sr.; and his brother William "Bill" Martin (Lola).
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Martin (Muir); and his children, Ernest Lee Martin (Sharon) of Pittsville, MD, Jeanne Kay Davis of Berlin, MD, Carol Sue Lewis (Gerald) of Westernport, John Kenneth Martin of Westover, MD and Gregory Brian Martin of Pittsville.
