He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Barnard and Margaret Barnard (Conn); and his siblings, William, Paul C, Eddie Barnard and Betty Lamberson.
He is survived by: his wife Lurene Frances Barnard (Nicol); his children, Tammy (Greg Tressler) of Swanton, MD and Paul (Kandi Barnard) of Springfield, WV; and his siblings, Glen R. Barnard (Nancy) of Frederick, MD, Orva Ann Mitter (Harry) of Franklin, MD and Mary Pratt of Oklahoma. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
