He was predeceased by: his parents, Zack Taylor and Nora Parkinson Taylor; his son David Taylor; his daughter-in-law Teresa Taylor; and his siblings, Warren Taylor, Zack Taylor, Jr., Hardon Taylor, Dickie Taylor, Mike Taylor, Estelle Horner, Pearl Taylor and Beck Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Hope Taylor of Wenona; his children, Lori Mansfield (James) of Mt. Vernon and Daniel Taylor of Dames Quarter; his grandchildren, Chelsea Mansfield, James Mansfield, Jr. (Caroline), Thomas Brumwell, III, Kimberly Maury (Vishal), Danielle Mechalske (Josh) and Ryan Taylor (Brianna); and his great grandchildren, Briley, Camden, Giana, Madison, Alayna, Ella, Maverick, Caiden, Kylo, River and Gus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (9167 Deal Island Rd, Deal Island Historic District, MD 21821). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
