He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Louise (Montgomery) and Frank Henry Shotwell; and his brother-in-law Charlie Thompson. He is survived by: his pets, Henry and Harley; his caregiver Stacey Wilkerson; his daughter Madison Shotwell (Tony Daniel); his grandchildren, Kinsley, Alexander, ToniLynn and Nathan; his stepdaughter Samantha Matthews (Bernie Brady); his stepgrandchildren, Brody, Ella and Bernie; his stepdaughters, Morgan and Sarah Hill; and his siblings, Wayne (Ruth Shotwell), Dale (Melissa Shotwell), Jackie (Ricky Lauthroom), Glenn (Susie Shotwell), Gail Thompson and Dana (John Taylor). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family he loved.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Welcome Maryland (6735 Port Tobacco Rd, Welcome, MD 20693). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
