He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Berkley Wedding Sr. and Lucille Viola Wedding; and his siblings, Carroll Wilford Wedding, Mary Eloise Wedding Wenk, Lillian Eleanor Wedding, Thelma L. Wedding, Viola Louise Wedding, Carroll B. Wedding Jr., John Edward Wedding, William Lester Wedding Sr. and Lucille Irene Wedding Buckler.

He is survived by: his close friend Jessie Gilroy; and his siblings, Eleanor Coulby, Ronald Wedding and George Harold Wedding. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nanjemoy Baptist Church, 3030 Baptist Church Road Nanjemoy, Maryland 20662.
