He was predeceased by: his parents, Ercell Gordon and Doris Gordon (Clark); his wife Pauline Emily Gordon; and his siblings, Norman Ercell Gordon and Eleanor Amend (Gordon).

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Gordon (Sandra), Mark Gordon and Thomas Gordon (Judith); and his granddaughters, Ashton and Olivia Gordon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
