He was predeceased by: his son Antonio Cobey. He is survived by: his son Lorenzo Cobey; his grandchildren, Adrin Cobey and Zamari Cobey; and his siblings, Eric Cobey, Philip Cobey, Joyce Mosser (Bob) and Anggie Cobey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
