He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Rufus and Edna Kersey (McClanahan); and his wife Edith E. Kersey. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Diane E. Saienni (Michael) of Middletown, DE, Sherri D. Hurd of Middletown, DE and Kevin E. Finner of Middletown, DE; his grandchildren, Jill McCoy of North East, MD, Kevin Finner, Jr. of Clayton, DE and Morgan Hurd of Middletown, DE; and his great grandchildren, Gregory McCoy, Jr. (Christina) of Delaware City, DE and Matthew McCoy (Tina) of Elkton, MD. He is also survived by 5 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
