With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray William Jones of Walkersville, Maryland, born in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lester and Nellie Jones of Virginia; his son-in-law Wes Haupt; and his siblings, Calvin Jones (Doris), Charles Jones (Carolyn), Eddie "Tommy" Jones, Frances Bell (Bob), Freda Myers (Bernie) and Rosalie Hunter (Kenny).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Jones; his daughters, Debbie Ebersole (Matt) of Boonsboro, MD, Donna Haupt of Sevierville, TN and Tammy Brown (Mark) of Myersville, MD.; his grandchildren, Christie Ebersole of Boonsboro, MD, Ashley Maat (Doug) of Monrovia, MD, Cory Haupt of Sevierville, TN and Danielle Aird (Bill) of New London, CT; his great grandchildren, Derocco, Auston, Anthony and Annika Maat; and his sisters, Mary Dick (Donnie) of Boonsboro, MD and Linda Ritenour of Thurmont, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
