He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jerome Offutt Sr. and Mary Loretta (Davis) of Barnesville, MD.; and his siblings, H. Anne Carlton, Notley J. Offutt Sr., James Stephen Offutt, Charles T. Offutt and Lucille Walther.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred Offutt (Pairo); his daughter Catherine Offutt Murphy (Paul); his grandsons, Paul O'Malley Murphy, Jr. and Joseph Thomas Murphy; and his sisters, Loretta Pugh of Frederick and Helen Mazzuca (Ralph) of Washington, DC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
