We bid farewell to Kathryn R. Himes of Walkersville, Maryland, born in Woodsboro, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 6, 2024 at the age of 88. Kathryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Saylor and Nellie Saylor (Dayhoff); her husband Guy M Himes; and her siblings, Betty Potts (Buddy), Robert "Bob" Saylor (Dottie) and Kenneth "Chuck" Saylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Himes (Linda) of Frederick and Todd Himes (Lori) of Walkersville; her stepson Stephen Himes (Kathy) of Martinsburg, WV.; her grandchildren, Sarah Bartock (Dan), Becca Himes, Stephanie Himes, Amanda Himes and Ross Himes; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Charlotte and Wyatt Bartock.
