He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hottinger and Ruth Hottinger (Ashbaugh); and his son John Howard Hottinger. He is survived by: his daughter Sonia Louise Franklin (Bill) of Crofton, MD; his grandchildren, Jon Eric Hottinger (Liv), Kellye Anderson (Rick) and Jay Franklin (Kara); and his great grandchildren, Timothy, Hayley, Avery Anderson, James Thomas, John Brooks Franklin, Emma and Claire Hottinger.
