She was predeceased by: her husband J. Fred Alexander; her parents, Steiner M. Whitmore and Mabel R. Whitmore (Long); her granddaughter Angela; and her sister Gloria E. Bachman.
She is survived by: her children, Peg, Ron (Susan) and Dennis (Sharon); her grandchildren, Amy and Lee; her great grandchildren, Honore, Olivia and Cyrus; and her brother Kenneth (Maryanne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Doris' memory to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, building fund, at the above address.
