He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Y. Nelson and Phila M. Nelson (Edmands); and his brother Bruce Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Eva Nelson; his sister Sandra Bartlett; his son Waldo Y Nelson; and his grandsons, Gavin and Cole Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (3320 St Peters Dr, Waldorf, MD 20601). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
