He was predeceased by: his father Johnny "Squirrel" Anderson; his great-grandparents, Fred Boger and Juanita Tyler Boger; his grandparents, Lee "Bill" Allison, Fredonia Boger Allison, James Wesley and Lalar Anderson; his uncles, Lee "Rocky" Allison, Jr. and Isaac Applewhite, Jr.; and his sister Angela Johnson.

He is survived by: his mother Anita Gail Boger; his wife Rose Marie Lee of Detroit; his daughter Jordan Makiah Boger; his siblings, Judge Juanita Boger Allen, Andrea Boger Bryant (Timothy), Thyais Boger Massey (Mario), Jonathan Johnson (Keshion) and Jermaine Gill; his great-aunt Betty Murchison; his aunts, Joyce Howard, Jean Applewhite, Debra Frazier and Suzette Allison; and his nieces and nephews, Kijana Boger, Sean Bryant, Jaren Bryant, Omari Massey, Jalen Gill, Hasan Gill, Javar Graham, Mya Allen, Lakendria Massey, Alberteen Johnson, Donae Fountain (David) and Sutavia Johnson (Donuell).
