He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Owens and Lee Owens; and his sister Era Lee. He is survived by: his wife Jean Owens; his sons, Richard and Randy Owens (Earline); his sisters, Joan, Pansy, Ruth and Rebecca; and his former wife Shirley.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
