With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn D. Lyons of Waldorf, Maryland, born in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lyons and Jean Lyons (Honsaker); and his brother Terry Lyons. He is survived by: his wife Sara K. Dinklocker; his children, Michelle Lyons (Tim Huber) of Indian Head, MD and Jeff Lyons (Amy) of Cary, NC; his granddaughter Allie Lyons; his siblings, Pam Lyons of Hermitage, PA, Mark Lyons (Paula) of Hermitage, PA and Scott Lyons (Betsy) of Diamondhead, MI; and his brother-in-law John Dinklocker (Christina) of Hinckley, OH..

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (4535 Piney Church Rd, Waldorf, MD 20602). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM. The inurnment was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the same location.
