He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Edward Countiss, Sr. and Margaret Countiss-Gross; and his siblings, Janette Countiss, Gladys Windsor and Jerome Countiss (Ann).

He is survived by : his daughters, Margaret "Neice" Countiss and Sheila M. Green; his grandchildren, Zachary Countiss and Ayana Padmore; his great grandchild Niya Countiss; and his sister Blanche Countiss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home (7 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD 20602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (13715 Notre Dame Pl, Bryantown, MD 20617). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
