With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jane Bussey of Waldorf, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jane left this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Therman Cleveland Drinkard and Mary Frances "Pany" Drinkard; her husband Richard A. Bussey Sr.; and her brothers, Robert and Neal Drinkard.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Diaz (John), Terrie Ney and Richard Bussey Jr. (Melissa); her grandchildren, Jason Diaz, Jeremy Diaz, Joshua Diaz, Roy Ney, Richard Bussey III, Zachary Bussey and Katharina Bussey Stearns; her great grandchildren, Tori, Nathaniel, Hunter Diaz, Kaylee, Ronnie Ney, Ellie, Lilly, Maybell Diaz and Coraline Bussey; and her siblings, Cary Drinkard, Sue Mellott and Gail Taherian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Memorial Gardens (3165 Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
