She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Lou and Herbert Sumpter; her siblings, Ida Mae Brown and Herbert L. Sumpter (Sonny); her husband Andrew Ivory Ludd; and her daughter Kenette T. Ludd Zeigler.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Sumpter; her sons-in-law, Myron Staton and Lonnie Zeigler; her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Sumpter and Rev. Jane Oliver; her grandchildren, Dray Sumpter (Tarah), Remount Sumpter and Aisha Zeigler; her great grandchildren, Deondray, Taray, Daysean, Rhalif, Dontae, Domonick and Kennady; and her great great grandchild Koi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (2645 Marshall Hall Rd, Bryans Road, MD 20616). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Heritage Memorial Cemetery (13472 Poplar Hill Rd, Waldorf, MD 20601).
