He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. North, Sr. and Osceola Abbott North. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rippons; his children, Debbie Murphy, Tim North (Dori Weber), Terri Greene (Mike), Pam Elliott (Duane), Buddy Lewis, Barbie Phillips and Holly Huffer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mandy Peters, Jessica Rodriguez, Robby, Hunter MacLauchlan, Bradley, Matthew Elliott, Leon and Levin Lewis; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Myra Peters, Nora Rodriguez, Levy and Lily Lewis; his sister Thelma Cook; his son-in-law Tom Murphy; and his pet Buford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
