Katherine Bean Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, at the age of 85, Katherine Bean of Valley Lee, Maryland, born in Leonardtown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Caywood and Grace Ellen Caywood (Raley); her sister Rosalie "Rae" Lee (late Ike); and her siblings-in-law, Neadura "Sissy" Hall, Rosalie Bean and Gregory Bean.
She is survived by: her husband George Leo Bean, Sr. of Year's Day; her sister Mary "Peggy" Lee (late Bobby); her nieces, Gail Spalding and Lyndall Lee; and her stepchildren, Cathy Gossett (Kim), Patty Hancock, Glenda Fritz Leo Bean (Joe) and Tim Bean. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Episcopal Church (19167 Poplar Hill Ln, Valley Lee, MD 20692). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
