He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rollins Britton, Sr. and Gertrude Boumans Britton; and his siblings, Doris Miles, Bernice Owens, Joan Porte and Gerard Britton.

He is survived by: his wife Mary "Kitten"; and his siblings-in-law, Maryann Springer and George Springer (Joan). He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's at P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
