In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ritchie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ritchie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Solter and Susan "Tuda" Solter; his wife Beverly Brooks; his daughter Elizabeth; and his sister Susan "Soonie" Mulford.

He is survived by: his significant other Amanda Wharton; his sister Cathy Pollock; and his children, Kristin Solter Edmunds, Thomas Wagner Solter and John Ritchie Solter, Jr.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at 3738 Butler Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church in Glyndon, Maryland.
