It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lena Smith of Upperco, Maryland, who passed away, on March 3, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Wilhelm and Lewis M. Wilhelm, Sr. of Sparks, MD.; her husband George F. Smith; and her siblings, Roy Wilhelm, Nancy Spurlin and Rose Doster.
She is survived by: her daughter Kim; her son-in-law Bud Murray; her granddaughter Stacey M. Murray-Fritz (Donald L. Fritz, Jr.); her stepgreat-granddaughter Leah M. Fritz; her brothers, Lewis M. Wilhelm, Jr. (Sharon) and Larry R. Wilhelm, Sr. (Carla); and her stepsister Darlene Kowalevicz (Don). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Due to current COVID restrictions, there is a 40 person building maximum.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local Animal Shelter or to the family to help with expenses, which would be greatly appreciated but not necessary.
