It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Marie Sparks of Upperco, Maryland, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Smith and Ada Smith; her husband David L. Sparks; her daughters, Peggy Ann Logan of Upperco, Kimberly Sparks Haldeman of Upperco and Beth Sparks King of Upperco; her grandchildren, Joshua David Logan, Ashleigh Logan Franks, April Logan Yoder, Kierstin Lauren Pastrana, Hayley Amber Knopf, Hollis Noel King, Karley Haldeman Routh and Courtney Haldeman Rodman; and her sister Mary Schultz of Hanover, PA..
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Bible Church (3250 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102).
