He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Turner and Sadie Turner (Stevens); his sister Miriam Smith; and his nephew Darrius Turner. He is survived by: his wife Bridget Turner (Reeder); his children, Shantel Wade (Turner), Liasia Turner and Stanley W. Turner Jr.; his son-in-law James M. Wade Jr.; his granddaughters, Shamya Wade and Destin Bryant; his brother Julius Turner; his siblings-in-law, Theresa Turner, Leslie Thompson (Reeder) and Regi Thompson; his nieces and nephews, Karen Edge (Angelo), Paulette Smith, William "Henry" Smith (Silver) of Bryon, Moorhead, Jr. of Robert, Reeder and Trevor Thompson; and his goddaughter Tiara Davis.
